ABOUT OUR KARATE SCHOOL
A GREAT PLACE FOR FRIENDS & WINNERS
The USMC (United Support for Military Communities) Dance Company is a VSSN youth program open to ALL youth dancers service-connected or NOT. We bring dancers and their parents together through dance to create life long bonds and develop exceptional skill!
The USMC Dance competitive and performance dance company is designed for the serious dancer who is highly motivated in the performing arts. We goal for our STUDENTS not just to win on stage but to win in life. All serious dancers will take the scholarship track and will have an opportunity to receive a college scholarship from a recognized college or university.
This class expresses the influences of Acro, Ballet, Modern, and Lyrical, which are combined to create today's style of innovative Contemporary movement. Beginner and Intermediate dancers are encouraged to be enrolled in a ballet class.
EARLY OR MINI DANCE (BALLET/MOVEMENT)
Beginners ages 4-6 years old only. We explore motor skills, movement and musicality while focusing more specifically on ballet positions, vocabulary while encouraging creative thinking and a spirit of fun in the arts! Our young dancers attain higher levels of self-confidence as they develop strength, flexibility, and coordination through the joy of dance.
Learn from the most relevant experienced hip hop choreographers. Here dancers will learn the traditional and new school moves while learning to dance on the uptempo hard beat and to the lyrics of the ballad.
JAZZ or BALLET TECHNIQUE
Let's build flexibility, strength, and technique and apply them to turns, leaps, jumps and stylized choreography at all levels. A ballet background is helpful and dancers are encouraged to take ballet along with jazz classes. This class focuses on technique with a sprinkle of choreography.
